Street Tunes and Summer Beauty......

We had a visit recently with our piano-playing son in Seattle and strolled through a unique event, "Street Tunes" in downtown shopping area of Everett, Washington. The event features several pianos that had been handed over to various artists to paint and play with and then each piano was bolted down to the city sidewalks and piano players young and old, novice and accomplished, were invited to play at their leisure and create music outdoors!

I also wanted to share an interview I was asked recently to do as a "Contributing Artist of the Week" at Tortoise and Finch Productions. Their fundraising campaign for the documentary film, "You Look Alot Like Me", on the topic of domestic violence, is in its final days. If you haven't had a chance to take a look at this opportunity to support this cause you can find more out here!

Summer's in full bloom....
Arn't the colors in these flowers just beautiful! I am gifted every summer by my husband's garden artistry with a bounty of lush and gorgeous hanging baskets, overflowing flower pots and colorful beauties sprouting all over our yard!I hope you are finding time to pause and really see the beautiful things in your life! Enjoy each moment as our summer is winding to a close!
