The Life I Want To Live....

Shared a beautiful, sunshine and blue sky morning today with a few brave girls from our "Soul Restoration II" group. It has been a rich time these last few months as five of us have gathered every Friday morning to encourage and challenge each other while working through this on-line workshop at The Brave Girls Club.

We have each created our own unique "The Life I Want To Live" journals which have been filled with personal imagery, art journaling, words, life truths, questions, hopes, goals, dreams, and all that represents the deepest of soul work. By the completion of the course work each book is truly an authentic and very transparent portrait of each individual woman's heart and soul. The beauty of the book is it is "in process" and will be continually added to for months to come!



I wanted to share an 11x17 framed piece I was commissioned recently to do for a friend (you may click on the image to see it enlarged). I was reminded of my original love of creating three-dimensional pieces around poetry and poetic imagery. It is especially a joy to assemble a piece when I personally know the recipient and can draw from our history together and my heart knowledge of their story. I hope to play in this medium again soon as my heart felt inspired and lifted in the process.
